Tasha Taylor’s “Merry Christmas Baby” Re-Released For Christmas 2011

The youngest daughter of R&B Pioneer Johnnie Taylor, is offering her sultry, Christmas original, “Merry Christmas Baby” from her CD, TAYLORMADE, just in time for the holidays. The accompanying “Merry Christmas Baby” video can be viewed at both TashaTaylor.com and at YouTube.com/TashaTaylor2.

Her 2011 debut introduced the talented Ms. Taylor to blues and soul aficionados across America. TAYLORMADE is filled with remembrances, “‘Merry Christmas Baby’ is one of those songs on the album that has taken on a life of its own and now is really more evocative of my parents than about me,” Tasha explains.

Mark Morrison And DMX, Pair Up Again To Deliver Inspirational New Single, “I Don’t Want 2 Die”

Mark Morrison has again teamed up with DMX to record “I Don’t Want 2 Die”, the inspirational, brand new single taken from Morrison’s upcoming album. Rapper DMX, who was released from prison last month, and ‘Return of the Mack’ star Mark Morrison follow up their classic collaboration “Innocent Man”, with another record for the streets of London, and the World.

The success of Mark Morrison’s 1996 Atlantic Records debut album “Return of the Mack” was unprecedented, surpassing even The Beatles by scoring five Top 10 singles. The lead single from the album also titled “Return of the Mack”, reached #1 in the UK and went top ten in just about every European country. The following year it sold more than two million copies in the US, where it reached #2 and spent a remarkable 41 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.

Mark Morrison last collaborated with DMX in 2006 on the single “Innocent Man”. The song was released in the UK, and remixed the following year by Swizz Beatz, appearing in sample form on Cassidy’s single “Innocent (Misunderstood)”.
